1998年7月毕业于东南大学电气工程系,2001年获得硕士学位。2005年7月在清华大学电机系取得电气工程博士学位,之后留校任教。2003年底,经国家公派赴美国田纳西大学访问工作一年。现为IEEE会员、PELS会员,中国电工技术学会电动车辆专业委员会委员,中国汽车工程学会电动汽车分会会员。
多年从事电力电子技术、电机及其控制系统特别是电动汽车高性能电驱动系统方面的研究工作。主持过国家自然科学基金2项,国家863计划子课题1项,自主科研计划1项及企业委托项目若干。已获得国家发明专利授权2项;在IEEE Transactions、《中国电机工程学报》等国内外核心刊物及ECCE等国际会议上发表论文50余篇,其中3篇被SCI收录,46篇被EI收录。近年来,在电动汽车电驱动技术如PWM技术、矢量控制的准确定向等方面取得了一些创新性成果,与合作单位一起将相关成果应用于实际系统中,解决了一些实际问题,推动了电动汽车的产业化;与合作伙伴共同获得国家科技进步二等奖。
长期承担清华大学电机系本科生专业必修课《电力电子技术基础》的教学工作。分别获得2010年电机系第一届青年教师教学比赛三等奖、2012年电机系第二届青年教师教学比赛一等奖。
