  Xiongying Liu received the B.S. degree in electrical & electronic engineering from JiLin University, China, in 1996, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in physical electronics and circuits and systems, form South China University of Technology, in 2001 and 2004, respectively.

  From 1996 to 1999, he worked as an electrical engineer in FuShun steel plant. From 2002 to 2003, he served as a Research Assistant in THE Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Since 2004, he has been a Lecture in South China University of Technology. In 2009, became a Associate Professor in South China University of Technology. Dr. Liu has published more than 30 papers in refereed Journals and Conference Proceedings. He is a Member of IEEE. His current research interests include nonlinear circuits and systems, chaos-based digital communications, UWB radio frequency communications, electromagnetics and information theory.

  Research Projects:
  1、Key technology research about microwave UWB chaos-based wireless communications, supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.

  2、New generation of chaos-based wireless communications and its applications,supported by the Guangdong Natural Science Foundation.

  3、New scheme about Multiple access chaos-based communication and its BER performance analysis, supported by the Guangdong Natural Science Foundation.

  4、Noncoherent Chaos-based digital communications, supported by the Guangdong Natural Science Foundation.
