　　With50yearsofdevelopment,LNUTCMhasestablisheditsowneducationalcharacteristics,strongincultivatingmedicaltalentsforinternationalcommunication,forexperimentalandclinicalinnovation,andforthesuccessionoftraditionalChinesemedicine.LNUTCMisoneofexaminationcentersresponsibleforNationalTCMPractitionerCertificationExamination,appointedbytheStateAdministrationofTraditionalChineseMedicineofthePeople’sRepublicofChina.LNUTCMisalsotheNationalTrainingBaseforTCM-SpecializedEnglish,theBranchCenterofNationalDatabasesandRetrievalSystemofTCMLiterature,andthebaseofInternationalTCMCooperation.Inaddition,LNUTCMistheclinicalresearchbasefordevelopingkeytechnologyinnewTCMmedicineauthorizedbyTheMinistryofScienceandTechnologyofthePeople’sRepublicofChina,andthenationalorganizationforclinicaltrialofmedicinecertifiedbyStateFoodandDrugAdministrationofthePeople’sRepublicofChina.LNUTCMistheeducationandexaminationcenterofWFASinLiaoningProvinceandthekeyinstitutionforExaminationandAssessmentPreparatoryCommitteeofWFCMS.Furthermore,LNUTCMisoneoftheChineseuniversitieswhicharefirstauthorizedtorecruitinternationalstudentsaswellasstudentsfromHongKong,MacauandTaiwanandwhichtakeinternationalstudentswithscholarshipawardedbytheChinesegovernment.LNUTCMisalsothenationalbaseforTCMclinicalresearch.LiaoningAcademyofTraditionalChineseMedicinewasfoundedin2013.
