　　1991年--至今，在西华大学任教。现为西华大学电气信息学院院长，西华大学学术委员会委员，硕士研究生导师，西南交通大学电气工程学院副博士生导师，四川省学术与技术带头人后备人选、四川省教学名师称号、四川省师德标兵，四川省电力电子学会副理事长,成都市自动化学会常务理事。2000年在加拿大北大西洋学院作短期访问学者，2006年在日本徳岛大学作短期访问学者。国家自然科学基金评议人。
　　主要承担《自动控制理论》、《电力电子学》、《现代控制理论与应用》和《现代电气传动技术》等多门本科生、研究生课程的教学工作。主编教材《自动化专业英语》（重庆大学出版社，2003）和《自动控制理论》（重庆大学出版社，2007）。
　　发表论文80多篇，其中被SCI、EI收录40多篇。主持与主研国家级、省部厅级基金项目和其他企业合作项目30多项。获得四川省政府教改项目奖励多项。申请国家发明专利1项，实用专利1项。
