　　1．酿酒酵母（S.cerevisiae）抗逆与高产乙醇分子机制及适应逆境进化的机理研究；基因组结构变异与代谢工程等构建高效利用多种糖、抗逆高产乙醇的酵母工业菌株；大规模乙醇工业化生产节水节能减排高产，降低环境污染及生产成本的机制与技术集成研究。
　　2． 具药用与保健功能生物源活性化合物的筛选、结构鉴定、药理与生理功能研究；基因组水平挖掘发现新天然活性化合物及其生物合成基因（簇）、合成途径解析与优化研究。
　　3．工业微生物产量性状遗传与关键基因的结构、表达调控与高产菌株的构建研究。
