科研论文方面，在《Chaos》、《IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I 》、《IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics 》、《 Applied Mathematics and Computation 》、 《 Journal of the Franklin Institute 》、《 Nonlinear Analysis》、《 Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics 》、《 Mathematics and Computers in Simulation 》、 《 Neural Processing Letters 》、《 Neurocomputing 》、《Physica A 》、《Physics Letters A》、《International Journal of Neural Systems》、《 Advances in Difference Equations 》、《 Chaos, Solitons and Fractals 》、《 Dynamics of Continuous, Discrete and Impulsive Systems 》、《 International Journal of Computer Mathematics》等杂志发表论文80余篇，其中被SCI检索42篇，EI检索34篇。1篇论文入选SCI机构选择的1997年-2007年人工神经网络研究最有影响的42篇核心论文，发表在4个SCI杂志的5篇论文进入所在期刊近五年引用率最高的10篇论文。 科研项目方面，主持国家自然科学基金项目1项，四川省教委青年基金项目1项，浙江省教育厅科研计划项目2项，湖州市自然科学基金项目1项，重庆市教委科学技术研究项目1项，重庆市自然科学基金项目1项。主研国家973计划前期研究专项1项，国家自然科学基金项目2项，教育部科学技术研究重点项目1项，浙江省自然科学基金项目1项。参与了“International Joint Project sponsored by the Royal Society of the UK and the National Natural Science Foundation of China” 和“The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation of Germany” 项目的研究。 荣誉获奖方面，获“重庆市第二届学术技术带头人”，“浙江省高校三育人先进个人”和“重庆市高校中青年骨干教师”称号。1篇论文获“浙江省自然科学优秀论文二等奖”，2篇论文获“浙江省自然科学优秀论文三等奖”，1篇论文获“南京市自然科学优秀论文三等奖”。完成的项目《变化时滞神经网络动力学研究》获重庆市2008年自然科学奖三等奖，该项目是2008年重庆市数学唯一获奖项目，该奖的获得也实现了重庆交通大学理学获自然奖零的突破。
