学习经历

l 1983年7月，中南林学院林学系林学专业，获学士学位(BSc)。

l 1998年5月，亚洲管理学院(AIM) ，获发展管理学硕士学位(MDM)。

l 2008年3月，中国科学院昆明植物研究所，获理学博士学位（PhD）。

工作经历

l 1983年7月－1986年12月，在中国科学院云南热带植物研究所工作，任研究实习员。 1984年9月－1985年7月，中国科学院成都外语培训中心，英语高级班结业。

l 1987年1月－1996年10月，在中国科学院昆明生态研究所工作。1989年7月晋升为助理研究员。1995年任所外事秘书兼植物生态研究室副主任；所学术委员会学术委员（兼任秘书）。 1987年9月－1988年9月，英国阿伯丁(Aberdeen)大学林学系，访问学者。1991年6月－1991年12月，菲律宾大学(UPLB)自然资源与环境研究所，进修学习。福特基金会资助，单位公派。

l 1996年11月－至今，在中国科学院西双版纳热带植物园工作。1997年10月晋升为副研究员。1999年10月进入中国科学院“西南生物资源与生物多样性保护研究基地”，从事与生物多样性信息系统、民族植物学、景观生态学及GIS应用相关的工作。硕士研究生导师。2003年10月，晋升为正高级工程师，任科技信息中心主任。 2005年11月，任科技外事处处长（2006年10月-2010年3月，兼民族植物学组代理组长）。 2010年3月-，任园主任助理（2011年6月起兼任国有资产管理处处长）。 2010年12月起，受聘为日本京都大学东南亚研究所特任教授。
