　　个人简介：
　　胡新根，男，汉族，1967年11月出生，浙江临安人，民盟盟员，教授，博士。
　　1990年浙江大学化学系化学专业本科毕业。1993年浙江大学化学系物理化学专业硕士研究生毕业。1998年浙江大学化学系物理化学专业博士研究生毕业，并留校任教。2001年应邀赴瑞士ETH Zürich作短期访学与合作研究。2002年调入温州师范学院工作至今。
　　2003年入选浙江省高校中青年学科带头人，2004年入选浙江省新世纪151人才工程第二层次。浙江省物理化学精品课程负责人。主要从事生物热力学和热化学、化学生物学和绿色合成技术等领域的研究工作。
　　已发表SCI论文60余篇，申请国家发明专利2项。
