  个人简介
  胡森,安徽泗县人。1983年获得中国科学技术大学数学系学士学位。1986年获得中国科学院系统科学研究所硕士学位,导师吴文俊院士。1990年获得美普林斯顿大学博士学位,导师为J.Mather教授和 W.Thurston教授。在美国西北大学、法国高工、美国普林斯顿高等研究院、纽约市立大学、美国哈佛大学等地访问或任教。2000年入选中国科学院“引进国外杰出人才”(百人计划)、2001年到科大工作。现为中国科学技术大学数学学院教授、中国科学院吴文俊数学重点实验室主任。
  胡森教授的研究领域初为动力系统,现为数学物理和弦理论。胡森教授的研究工作发表在Trans of American Mathematical Society,Comm.Math Phys.,JHEP,Physics Review,Physics Letters,Modern Physics Letters等国际一流杂志上。
  胡森教授参与和主持基金委数学物理重点项目、面上项目、中科院知识创新工程项目等。现为法国数学物理和理论物理杂志 Annales Henri Poincaré.A Journal of Theoretical and Mathematical Physics 和新加坡世界科学出版社 International Journal of Modern Physics A,Modern Physics Letters A 杂志编委。

  科研情况
  胡森硕士期间在我国著名数学家、首届最高科学奖获得者吴文俊院士的指导下在几何机器证明和多元多项式分解方面做了些工作。胡森教授的研究领域还包括微分动力系统、量子场论和弦理论。
  在微分动力系统方面,胡森的博士论文在我国著名数学家、北京大学廖山涛院士和巴西著名数学家Mane-Palis工作的基础上,对三维流形解决了著名数学家、菲尔兹奖获得者Smale和Palis提出的稳定性猜测,证明了结构稳定系统其非游荡集上必有双曲结构,论文发表在美国数学会会刊上。这一猜测是微分动力系统研究的一个核心问题。
  量子场论和弦理论是当代理论科学研究的前沿,在粒子物理、凝聚态、宇宙学和现代数学等方面有深刻的应用。胡森同时在现代数学和当代理论物理两个方面开展工作。
  胡森在著名数学物理学家、菲尔兹奖获得者Witten院士讲课的基础上形成一本专著《Lecture Notes on Chern-Simons-Witten Theory》,详细阐述了这一拓扑场论的重要模型。Witten写了序言,美国数学会数学评论等给予了好评。国内外主要大学和研究机构都藏有此书。胡森研究Chern-Simons理论与扭结不变量之间的关系,最近研究Witten提出的Khovanov同调的量子场论实现。胡森与刘国柱博士把非对易Chern-Simons 理论应用到量子霍尔效应方面,将空间非对易性质通过实验中的条形性质来验证,是少有的把空间非对易性质与实验联系起来的工作。
  在弦理论方面,胡森与王小军博士研究了超Yang-Mills规范场论和弦理论的对偶,为较少超对称的AdS/CFT对偶提供了证据。他们还利用味膜把物质场加入到超Yang-Mills场的弦论对偶中,是弦论中最早实现物质场的工作之一。近期来胡森与合作者致力于构造新的弦真空态并研究真空态模空间上的特殊几何。
  近年来胡森与闫沐霖教授研究了de Sitter背景的狭义相对论。这个工作最初是我国著名数学家华罗庚院士提出,由其弟子陆启铿院士实现。胡森与闫沐霖教授将其用于当代宇宙学的研究中,将光的群速度与时空对称性以及几何宇宙学常数联系起来。
  近年来胡森参与国际著名太阳能研究专家陈应天教授的太阳能光伏发电与炼硅的研究,在太阳能光伏发电的聚焦与跟踪理论方面合作发表了一系列论文。
