上海外国语大学英语口译专业导师介绍：Celine

    ►个人简介
　　Celine began training and has worked as a translator/ conference interpreter in France since 2007. She is a member of AIIC and graduated from the Paris school of conference interpreting, ESIT, in 2011.Having always had a keen interest in teaching, Celine is now pursuing her career in this direction, at GIIT, while at the same time remaining active as an interpreter / translator.

　　►任职情况
　　Celine currently works part-time for the International Union of Railways (UIC) based in Paris (covering railway related subjects such as technical leaflets, specifications, psychology, finance, marketing and legal matters); as translator proof reader for the Japanese Railway Technical Research Institute (RTRI) publishing arm based in Tokyo, inter alia. Through personal interest in the arts, Celine also regularly interprets for the “America” literature festival held every two years in Paris, as well as for other literature related events.

　　Celine Garbutt graduated from the School of Oriental and African Studies, London University, in 1995 with a combined honours degree in Japanese and Law, including UK law of obligations, private international law, and Japanese law.

　　►生活经历
　　Recruited by Mitsubishi Electric Europe after winning the Sir Peter Parker Award for spoken Japanese, with a speech entitled “The role of the international conference interpreter” she received further training in Los Angeles, Montreal and London in the field of strategic planning, communications and marketing before taking up a new position with the Canadian company Naya Inc, and then taking a career break of 7 years to raise two children.
