内蒙古农业大学水利与土木建筑工程学院介绍

　　内蒙古农业大学水利与土木建筑工程学院，前身是内蒙古农牧学院的农田水利系，始建于1958年。学院下设水利工程系、资源环境系、土木工程系、测绘工程系和水利土木工程综合实验中心，中心下设4个综合实验室，共17个功能实验室。现有在职教职工102人，其中教授26人，副教授34人，国家级教学名师1人，新世纪“百千万人才工程”国家级人选1人，享受政府特贴和自治区有突出贡献的中青年专家12人。在校本生2127人，硕士生92人，博士生35人。设有农业水利工程、水文与水资源工程、给水排水工程、环境工程、土木工程、测绘工程和建筑学7个本科专业。农业水利工程为教育部特色专业建设点，农业水利工程、水文与水资源工程、土木工程和给水排水工程专业为自治区级品牌专业，拥有7门自治区级精品课程。学院拥有农业工程博士后科研流动站1个，农业工程一级学科博士授权点1个，农业水土工程、农业生物环境与能源工程和农业水工建筑物3个二级学科博士点；农业水土工程、水文学及水资源、水工结构工程、农业生物环境与能源工程、水利水电工程、市政工程、结构工程7个硕士点。农业水土工程为国家重点（培育）学科，农业水土工程和水文学及水资源学科为自治区重点学科，水工结构工程为自治区重点（培育）学科；测绘信息实验中心为自治区级实验教学示范中心，水资源保护与利用实验室为自治区重点实验室。

　　多年来学院一直坚持教学、科研、生产相结合，学院教师主持完成多项大型水利工程的勘测设计与施工，水资源水环境调查、评价与水资源论证，水权转换，节水型社会建设与流域规划，灌区规划与设计等生产任务；1999年以来共承担了5项国际合作项目，3项国家科技攻关项目，3项973、863前期研究专项，28项国家自然科学基金项目，其中1项为重点项目。获国家级教学成果二等奖2项，获国家科技进步三等奖1项、省部级科技进步一等奖4项、二等奖6项、三等奖7项。在国内外学术期刊上发表科技论文近600篇，编写出版专著和教材近60部。

　　The Faculty of Water Resources and Civil Engineering, Inner Mongolia Agricultural University (IMAU) was founded in 1958, There are four departments, i.e. Hydraulic Engineering, Resources and Environment, Survey and Mapping, Civil Engineering, and one Comprehensive Experimental Center consisting of 4 comprehensive labs, which include 17 functional laboratories. There are 102 staffs of which 26 professors, 34 associate professors. One professor has been awarded as the Famous Teacher of China, One professor has been selected as one of the New Century Talented Persons Engineering of million people. There are 12 teachers got awards from the central government fellowships as youth and middle aged experts. There are 2127 undergraduate students, 92 Master degree students and 35 PhD students. There are 7 majors of undergraduate programs, i.e. Irrigation and Drainage Engineering, Hydrology and Water Resources, Water Supply and Wastewater Treatment, Environment Engineering, Civil Engineering, Survey and Mapping, Architecture. The Irrigation and Drainage Engineering is special major of Education of Ministry. Irrigation and Drainage Engineering, Hydrology and Water Resources, Water Supply and Wastewater Treatment and Civil Engineering are famous major of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. There are 7 excellent courses of Inner Mongolia level. There is 1 agriculture engineering Post doctoral work Station , 3 PhD programs, and 7 master degree programs of Agricultural Engineering of Water and Soil, Hydrology and Water Resources, Hydraulic Structure engineering, Agricultural biological environment and energy engineering, Water resources and hydropower engineering, Municipal engineering, Structure Engineering. Of which, Agricultural Engineering of Water and Soil program and Hydrology and Water Resources is the key program of Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region. Agricultural Water and Soil Engineering is the key support program by the Ministry of Education (MOE), Hydraulic Structure engineering is key (supported) program of IMAR. The Laboratory of Water Resources Protection and Utilization is the key lab supported by IMAR Government, and the Survey and Information Centre is the Teaching Demonstration Centre of IMAR in the academic area.

　　The Faculty has been contributed all its effort in combination of education, research and technology extension. The Faculty has undertaken and finished many projects such as the surveying, design and construction of many large scale hydraulic projects, the investigation, evaluation and assessments of water resources and environment projects, water right transfer, planning of water-saving society and watersheds; and irrigation planning in many areas etc. There are 5 international cooperation projects, 3 projects of National Science and Technology key task, 3 projects of 973, 863 preliminary research projectors, 28 projects of National Natural Science Research Funds, one of which is the key project has been undertaken since 1999. There are 2 research projects in education won the 2 degree awards from the MOE. One got award of 3rd of National Science and Technology Progress. 4 research projects got the first degree award, 6 won the secondary degree award, and 7 won the third degree award of S&T progressing from the ministry and from the Regional government. About 600 papers published both domestic and oversea, and 60 text books published.
