　　孙玉强：男，汉族，1977年11月出生，湖北枣阳人，教授，博士，2008年全国优秀博士论文获得者，2011年浙江省高等学校“钱江学者”（特聘教授），浙江省“151”人才第一层次，杭州市“131”中青年人才第二层次（2011-2015）。

　　教学科研情况
　　研究方向：植物基因组学与遗传工程，植物发育生物学，棉花生物技术与分子育种
　　研究内容：
　　1）棉花分子细胞生物学与基因组学
　　2）棉花基因工程
　　3）拟南芥发育分子生物学，主要是维管束发育。
　　教学情况：植物生物技术；植物发育的分子机理；植物遗传、生物技术与育种

　　Research interests
　　I have a passion for understanding the genomic expression profile in cotton somatic hybrids (from protoplast fusion between two cotton species/wild species), genetic improvement in cotton and the development of vascular cambium.
　　I am interested in a few things, and amongst them:
　　•Developmental Biology
　　•Genetic Engineering
　　•Fibre and Vascular Development
　　•Cellular and Molecular BiologySome of my researches do with cotton and some have to do with Arabidopsis thaliana as a model plant.

　　Background
　　Yuqiang Sun completed a B.Sc. (from 1996.9 to 2000.6) and did his PhD Degree (2000.7 to 2005.6) in plant genetics and breeding at National Key Laboratory of Crop Genetic Improvement of Huazhong Agricultural University in Wuhan. Subsequently he worked as a lecturer and associate professor (2005.7 to 2008.8) in College of Agriculture and Biotechnology of Zhejiang University in Hangzhou. He did a post-doc (2008.8 to 2010.8) at Umea University in Sweden and has joined the faculty of College of Life and Environmental Science in Hangzhou Normal University recently.
