　　1988年-1992年 华中农业大学植保系本科毕业
　　1992年-1995年 华中农业大学植保系昆虫学硕士毕业
　　1997年-2000年 浙江大学昆虫系昆虫学博士毕业
　　2004年 澳大利亚昆士兰大学昆虫系访问学者
　　2009年 泰国农业部学习培训
　　2010年 奥地利联合国交流访问
　　1995年硕士毕业后留校任教至今。参编高等教育“十五”、“十一五”国家规划教材和面向21世纪教材《普通昆虫学》。现指导的研究生有13名，其中博士研究生5名（1名为外籍博士生），已毕业的研究生11名。
　　近年来，已与法国、奥地利、瑞士等国多个大学及研究所建立了国际合作，先后选送2个硕士研究生到国外攻读博士学位。
　　2012年研究生招生：拟在昆虫生理生化及分子生物学方向、农业昆虫与害虫防治方向招收硕士生4-5名和博士生1-2名。
