简介：
   孙书存，男，1969年8月生。1998年毕业于中国科学院植物研究所，获理学博士学位。孙书存研究员长期从事植物种群生态学的基础研究，着重在构件、个体和种群水平上探讨植物形态的适应机制。研究方法以野外调查与控制实验为主，并结合应用稳定同位素和分子生物学技术手段。研究内容包括植物种群生活史对策、植物功能生态学，以及动植物相互作用关系等。近年来，孙书存研究员还试图通过种间水平上的比较生态学研究将植物种群的功能特点应用到生物多样性维持机制和生态系统功能的研究中。
